honoring the divine warrior goddess within..
my daughter left for school this morning wearing one of erans red shirts in solidarity of it being INTERNATIONAL WOMANS DAY, you go girl..while driving her to school this morning the radio was on and they were speaking about today and the female boycott and walk out happening around the nation so the world can see a day without the participation of woman..so do I pull over and dump her off on the side of the road so she can walk the rest of the way to school in protest? NAW, I continue to show her and my other daughter what it looks like to be a strong fierce force of life in our home where the education is prudent, vital and the most important place of displaying healthy boundaries, good values and morals standing strong in myself and honoring the divine warrior goddess within..now thankfully in the later part of my life, im showing them what it truly looks like finally to be in an equal exchange of a healthy loving relationship where I am honored and adored, supported and nourished, encouraged and fully embraced for the beautiful exquisite woman that I am..it has not always been like this though for them to see and learn, that's FOR SURE..neither of their fathers for whatever reason and my lack of self love and different variables, were capable of showing them this with me, EVER, which in the end is a giant reason why I chose to leave..i was never supposed to be a submissive second class citizen, the last on the totem pole, a last thought with high expectations, undernourished and to perform cultural female expected duties while surrounded by so much disrespect..fuck that!i now have extreme boundaries and specific structure that is non negotiable, because not only did I deserve more, but fuck my girls deserved better than what I was giving and allowing them to learn and see through me, their mother..i DONT want that for them EVER and I hope now I have inspired them greater and differently than I have in my past, hopefully recovering a sense of worth they are entitled to have..i am hopefully mirroring something not to late in their game that will take them farther along than it had taken me in the early part of my life while raising them to be strong independent free thinking woman..equality should always begin in the home starting with the roles of the mother and the father, representing a balanced exchange teaching at a very young age what equal partnership laced with love compassion gratitude thankfulness respect and all those attributes that all humans require and equally deserve..this is where it all begins for our daughters and the generations to come, in the fundamental foundation of the home and the structure of the female sacred temple..be a role model for the girls developing into woman, be a strong force with the most compassionate heart, raise your standards if you have been short changed and treated beneath your equal rights..take action outside the picket and protest..you are the empress, the high priestess the ultimate divine..without females the human race would sieze and assist and it all starts with how we decide to raise our children and choose to treat our own selves..wishing you all a happy international womans day...peace love faith hope
