winter is a bitch!

the past 2 weeks have been cold as fuck outside, breaking state records while dipping down into the frigged negative single digit numbers of not being able to feel your face upon leaving the house kind of cold..school was even closed this past Friday due to the artic air we are receiving and the wind chill factor that has made even Alaska look pretty warm right about now..all of us are continually talking about the effects of the weather because there is nothing basically left to talk about except how fucking cold it is outside..as a manicurist, my clients are bitching and complaining about how shitty their nails look but god bless the ones who don't give a shit and walk outside in flip flops because their pedicure and cute toes are essential for the winter survival..i was putting lotion on my body last night and noticed that my beautiful legs appeared ragged and wrinkly like I had aged 40 years over night because of the dry cold climit of a state we are in right now...hoooohummmm..I cant even kiss my husband without a static shock between us, making the chemistry between us utterly electrifying..snort snort..ive heard several times in our own home and around town the tune 'baby its cold outside" and seen plenty of runny noses with clear liquid wanting to become an icicle upon exiting the nose (I have actually felt some "crystals" in my own nose)..my car is technically black however it looks like its been sandblasted dirty frozen white or something like the stone washed jean trend from the 80s..not cool..we are expecting a heat wave tomorrow of 24 and by Tuesday we will be reaching the highs of 34 with pure sunshine..im thinking that because of it we will see a lot of Michiganders walking around outside coatless, wearing tee shirts while driving their convertibles cuz that's how we roll up here in the north when its "hot" outside..30 degree temperature increase is a lot don't you think..the good news to all this winter weather misery is the discovery of a series that has taken over the want and need to exit the warmth and comfort of our beautiful home..we have become one of those who indulge in the binge effect of watching a series that is actually beneficial to our winter sanity and gave us something to do other than focus on whats happening outside the doors of our home..I discovered a personal blessing by watching THE VIKINGS in actuality..i realized that if I lived in a time like them, I would be sitting in a very cold home having to surrendered to the custom of using the dead animals fur to keep me warm during the winter months..so I am beyond grateful for my life, this warm home,  these modern times, amazon prime, and my husband who is a human furnace keeping me warm at night because baby its cold outside..peace love faith hope..
