whats your price for fashion and pain?

I tried on a pair of Jimmy CHoo high heeled sandals last week for shits and giggles because they happened to be my size (5) and were a snake skin iridescent goldish color that where tantalizing to my eyes..truthfully I put them on because I wanted to see what the big fucking deal was about such expensive shoes..i put them on thinking I would instantly transform into a princess yet I didn't and even went as far as trying to twirl in them..these babies were $569.89 (on sale mind you) so I should have felt like a million bucks, but truthfully I already feel like a queen in my last years red swedish hasbeen clogs..these shoes were utterly uncomfortable as I pranced around the isle way, making my cute little toes feel like they are being punished just to "look" good..the straps were abusive actually cutting and strangling my feet, leaving a dented mark for the 4 minutes that I had them on..who buys this shit I thought as I struggled just to get them off.. it impossible to even fathom why someone would spend that amount of money on a shoe that wont even make it past an hour on their feet comfortably..seriously women subscribe to such nonsense at times its unbelievable and the tag we put on the price of style is another whole other blog for another time..last week I was giving a pedicure to a client of mine who I have been "nailing" for the last 20 years..when I got to removing the nail polish off her toes, I was astonished at all the blisters and soars that were in the process of healing on her feet..did she jimmy choo her feet???after my first response which was "what the fuck happened", I began to notice the pattern of the marks, and the story she told about her brothers wedding and the shimmery jimmy choo shoes that she had worn while showing me pictures..i giggled and told her about my time at nordstroms rack and admitted I couldn't understand who would buy shoes like this..we both busted out laughing!!!what a price tag we pay for our addiction to pain and suffering, feeling the need to be extra instagram pretty..in truth, what they are is a beautifully handcrafted torture device that are sculpted to appease your senses while causing ache and injury that result in some fucked up looking feet left blistered and you barefoot in the end..some brands even go as far as to monopolize and operate off our insecurities, creating a false sense of self in hopes of reeling you in taking advantage of these feelings..ive had my share of being mesmerized by the sparkle and the bedazzling chatter becoming hypnotized by the persuasive voice of the salesperson catatonically indulging your every whim..thankfully I live a more awakened life now a days and wouldn't even consider to knowingly cause pain to my body when I am working diligently on healing my overall self..i want to walk my life in comfort, love, happiness and not with wearing shoes that cause me to struggle and feel pain and suffering every step of the way..that somehow defeats the whole entire purpose..when you begin to think about that from an energetic point of view and the life you are creating unknowing, you might possibly rethink your shoes next time and your overall wardrobe all together..P.S you can thank me later!! peace love faith hope <3 <3 <3
