Mercury Fucking Retrograde

What is mercury retrograde & why does is make us act sometimes “bat shit crazy”. There are 3 periods of time every year when the planet mercury appears to orbit differently than normal creating an illusion which is called retrograde, October 14 - November 3 (sign of scorpio) being the last one of this year. This means that the planets normal direction energetically & visulally appears to shift into a temporary backward spiral motion.  This is why during these specific cycles it may feel nearly impossible for things to happen smoothly in flow, without extreme force from an astrology point of reference.

The planet Mercury astrologically rules in the house of communication, travel ( planes, trains & automobiles ) contracts ( business & personal ) & when you think about it, our entire online internet platform. This period of retrograde has the ability to effect all these avenues & then some, which is why I personally use crystals to support, balance & make this BAT SHIT CRAZY a bit more bearable.

This retrograde of mercury is in the sign of scorpio which as a fixed sign makes it the job of the Scorpio sign to maintain its season for all intense purpose.  If you look out side at nature, it is in the process of stripping it all down to the bare bones bracing for the change of season & winter.  This is the time to truly check in with yourself & begin to evaluate, purge & hunker down for the next coming months.  See these possible set backs as gifts from the universe to slow your pace down & really ask yourself in all honesty if what is opposing you worth your effort & time.  There is no apology with nature acting as a tough love teacher to educate you in what meaning & purpose truly is.
